"La Maruja"
 The dancer Anette Darda "la Maruja" began her training with Consuelo Garcia in Munich. Later she took classes with Juan Andrès Maya, la Chiqui in Jerez, Ana Cali in Granada, La China, Joaquin Ruiz, Angelita Gomez. But the teacher that influenced her dance style above all others is Carmen Cortès. She used to live in the town of Arles in the south of France for a couple of years, where she received the artistname "la Maruja" from the gypsies. She became acquainted with the "Gipsy Kings", who she performed with for a while. With the group "Gitano Family" she performed several times in Germany and France, f.e. for a German TV-show and on a ball of the fashion-magazine `Madame´ in Munich. She has been giving dancing-classes at different schools in and around Munich for about ten years. She is well recommanded for her authentic style of dancing and teaching, which is especially influenced by her connectedness to the gypsie culture.
